This post is about biking Mission Bay! I recently biked Mission Bay Park to soak in the ocean and residential views of San Diego. Mission Bay is famous for the jet skis and boats you’ll see along the beach. It also has grass to relax on, beaches, docks, and a walk/bike path.

    Mission Bay Overview

Mission Bay Park is the largest aquatic park in the country. It consists of over 4,235 acres in roughly equal parts land and water. Mission Bay boasts 27 miles of shoreline, 19 of which are sandy beaches with eight locations designated as official swimming areas.

If you need to rent a bike, plenty of nearby options specialize in renting bikes to tourists.
